About Us
The Coastside Aquatics Center was formed because of a shared vision by community members who want to promote water safety, health, and wellness, through aquatics. We also know we, as a community, need to build a modern regulation-sized pool. Our team is passionate about making this dream a reality and bringing the numerous benefits of an aquatic center to our coastside community.

Why Aquatics
Everyone deserves to be healthy, happy, and safe. Since we live by the ocean, enjoying our beaches goes hand in hand with practicing water safety skills. Swimming offers numerous benefits, including wellness, both mentally and physically. Water skills transcend swimming and provide a platform to overcome fears, face adversity, and create the drive to achieve goals.
All Coastsiders deserve equitable access to the benefits offered through early access to swimming opportunities. We need to make that happen for all Coastsiders, with an all-inclusive approach.
Aquatic Activities
Swimming Lessons
At Coastside Aquatics Center, we believe that everyone should have access to swimming lessons. That's why we will offer lessons, regardless of ability to pay. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced swimmer, young or old, our programs will be designed to help you improve your technique, increase your fitness, and have a great time in the water.
Support our local athletes
The HMB High School does not have a regulation-size pool that can support their team practices or competitive matches. All meets must be hosted by their competitors, which limits the attendance of supporters to cheer them on! Let's do better for our youth!
The Varsity Girls Water Polo team had a 9 - 1 winning record this last season. They are an awesome group of athletes. Congratulations to all.
The existing pool at HMB High is antiquated
at 60+ years old.
No one argues that the existing pool in HMB is long overdue for replacement. It simply does not meet the needs of our community, with its 3-foot depth around the perimeter and a deep trench through the middle. With a new regulation-sized pool, residents can be offered opportunities to attend water aerobics and other classes, learn water safety, as well as meet like-minded people and socialize.

Community Fun
A community pool is just that, a place to get together for fun, parties, exercise, and therapy. Our Boys and Girls Club, Mavericks Swimming Association, Seniors, and future organizations will enjoy our modern facility for many years into the future. This endeavor will bring our community together with programs for all.
